Northern Territory Institute of Sport (NTIS) cricketer Darcy Short has been selected in the South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) Pre Rookie squad, with the chance to be selected in the South Australian team during the 2009/10 Futures Cup Under 23 Competition.

Northern Territory Institute of Sport (NTIS) scholarship holder Rhys Dowling has capped off a remarkable win in the U15 boys squash title at the Australian Junior Championships by also taking out the M C Hazell Award for the Best and Fairest Player of the Tournament.
